Mia Brent is the CEO of Helping Hands Lending, LLC. At the age of 18, Mia worked as a Financial Manager at Ace Hardware, managing a $10,000-a-day safe box for the store. Mia also served as the lead supervisor at Great Western Bank and Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Company. Her passion for caring for others led her to become an RN and work with children in the area of PICU. While working in the nursing field, it became apparent that she is a natural born leader.

In 2002, Mia transitioned over to the management side of nursing. She was promoted to Quality Control Manager of one of the largest hospice companies in the nation, Odyssey Hospice; at the age of 26. While in Houston, Mia helped establish First Choice Nursing Home Health and serves as their Director of Nursing, also she ran the Houston division of Choice Source Therapeutics, a division of Caremark.  As the administrator of All Star Hospice, Mia oversaw all operations, from sales, marketing, administrative and accounting task. Although Mia has a nursing degree, she have always been on the business side of healthcare.  She has helped numerous companies to run more cost-efficiently.

Mia  skills include the ability to help companies increase their profit margins, by implementing and improving processes to help yield better financial returns. Mia holds a strong belief that building lasted relationships is one of the keys to financial success, and home ownership.


Mia's personal journey in the home buying process has led her to create  a company to help others, to become homeowners one loan at a time.
